As a general thought, did you already have Dolby Vision working on your equipment? Meaning, are the firmwares (AVR?) up-to-date and - if applicable - is DV enabled in every device settings?

Yeah sure just noticing this issue with some MKVs.

If the authors can't see any real reason behind it I might think it can depend also on Windows 11 being an Insider build (aka bugs), but then why with one MKV only...?

Very unusual indeed as I've made TONS of these jobs in the past and just other three more (different movies of course) after the issues with this MKV.

Right now I am remuxing the two MKVs (the English DV video track and the Italian E-AC3 and SUB tracks) with MKVToolNix GUI again to see what comes out.

Of course, DV will be there, profile 5 is not compatible with HDR10 unless your player is able to tonemap it. You just have to choose the right container according to your playback device.
