Found that setting in VLC to correct that issue

I rolled back MKV to 1.14.7
Same Issue. I'm trying an older version today. As for the VLC out put setting, the post wasn't specific what or where the change is made.

I'm having the same issue. Green color bar at the top of movie. Season 3 of the Big Bang Theory and now The Green Mile.
So what is the work around for this issue?
