Re: All Pioneer drives will be LibreDrive supported
I see I am a little late to the party! This is great news! I am glad I kept my Pioneer that had unflashable firmware as a spare!

Re: Billycar11 Selling Flashed Pioneer UHD Drives USA only, Remote Flashing,Tested& Makemkv Discount Code
I got a Pioneer drive from Billycar11 and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The drive works well! No issues. Communication was quick and clear and shipping was good as well. Overall I recommend Billy for anyone needing a drive that will rip 4k UHD blu rays.

I don't know but I think it can do BDXL. I was wondering if it can do it or not. I don't know if it needs to be flashed.

We've spent the past 2 years wishing, but nothing has happened yet.
Pioneer firmware >= December 2022 is notorious.

I think it is better now. What did you see? Sorry.Woodstock wrote: Sat Oct 19, 2024 10:05 pm imgur.com does not show "just" the image. It shows a webpage that CONTAINS the image. Re: error- should I be worried?
[Thanks. I cleaned the disk There are still some circular marks on it. I got this:
Hash check failed for file 00002.m2ts at offset 2059069440, file is corrupt.
Too many hash check errors in file 00002.m2ts.
Err, yes. But did you use a Pioneer drive?
No I don't have one. An Asus and an LG ...

Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:LOGICAL UNIT HAS NOT SELF-CONFIGURED YET'
IIRC this particular disk is notoriously bad. I suspect you would need a Pioneer drive to rip it successfully.

I am having issues with the Queen Rocks Montreal Disc 2. Is it the disc or the drive? I got this error on my second drive while the rip failed on two drives.

Pink Floyd Animals
I ripped this disc to backup and got one debug 0 code which I read doesn't necessarily mean there's a problem. I used that backup to create an MKV and the program said there were several av sync issues. Is that going to present a problem on playback?

Re: Problematic HD-DVDs
I didn't see a better place to put this so, here is my necropost. My HD DVD drive has been happily ripping discs using AnyDVD (blasphemy). But my drive (I forget the model no.) won't even recognize three HD DVD's I have from a box set: Blade Runner-5 Disc Special Edition. Has anybody found a way to ...
