Drive giving hash errors- kiss of death?
Sorry if this is considered a cross post. I have an UHD drive returning hash errors ala this error classification notice: https://www.makemkv.com/errors/hashcheck/ Is that always considered the kiss of death for the drive or could it be something else? The drive is the WH16NS60 in a Vantec case.

Re: MKV Locking up computer
I guess my subject line should read: Make MKV locking up my computer. I believe it is the program not the file locking up my computer.

Re: MKV Locking up computer
Thanks for your reply. I had already ripped (did a backup and decrypted it) the disc and was using the resulting file on my hard drive to make an mkv. The disc drive was not involved in the crashing. I see then That is probably not the case. Does just coping the file to where you were having makemk...

MKV Locking up computer
I think, as the title says, that mkv is locking up my computer. Everything is up to date, working with win 11 (upgraded from win 10) and latest MKV beta. I have backed up the blu ray I am working with (Pink Floyd Pulse Disc 2) and decrypted it. I am working with the decrypted backup to make an MKV. ...

Is burning from ISO even necessary? I have blu rays I backed up and just burned the files to disc and they work in my Oppo.

Re: Star Trek: Wrath of Khan correct playlist
I have to chime in here: that doesn't seem right. This is the UHD section. I don't think both versions are on the UHD. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Ok that post is about different versions of the same film. I’m referring to a single movie split on two discs because of the length of it. Still the same principle?

Does anyone know if Return of the Jedia t00 or t01 is the the 00 800 title? I ripped both before I learned the 00800 trick. Wondering which one I should delete. Where can one find the 00800 trick info? I googled but got other stuff. edit: I found some info by searching this site. I guess it's a dis...
