Re: General Issues with Windows version and external LG Blu Ray drive
Just to add some color to this, here is the output in my MakeMKV window for a disc I've been trying to copy: MakeMKV v1.15.3 win(x64-release) started Backing up disc into folder "C:/Video/backup/THE_LIVING_DAYLIGHTS" Processing BD+ code, please be patient - this may take up to few minutes ...

General Issues with Windows version and external LG Blu Ray drive
I'm not sure where to post this but I am seeing some strange behavior with the application. I posted in a previous topic with issues regarding the MakeMKV backup process bombing because it loses connection with the drive. At first, I thought that was a windows 10 issue. But, I have used the USB driv...

Re: Reading a directory
Yes it's powered by USB. BUT, when I copy the entire disc using Windows Explorer, the drive DOES NOT time out or suspend, only when MakeMKV is using it. I also have the same problem with Mac OS (Sierra). I've tried using a powered USB hub (so hub that has an AC adapter), but that doesn't fix the pro...

Reading a directory
So I have been having hit-and-miss issues with MakeMKV and Windows 10 with an external DVD. Sometimes, Windows suspends the USB devices (there's a known issue for this) which causes a MakeMKV backup to fail. So, I thought, why not copy the entire Blu Ray DVD to a folder and then open the folder with...
