okay, that makes sense. I'll have to do some additional troubleshooting as to why the same disc that will rip on the windows machine won't rip (and show errors) on the OSX version.

But the drive has 'seen' several discs at AACS 62 on the windows host, shouldn't transfer to the OSX also show AACS 62? Also, that same drive fails to rip discs on the OSX that rip fine on Windows.
