As long as the video and the rpu start at the same frame, you can ignore the mismatch at the end(will be the case for almost all the movies).

I am trying to add DV metadata from WEB-DL sources to UHD sources.
I keep getting warning about mismatch lengths.

I have a WEB-DL DV source and a UHD HDR source

What i did are the following steps:

For the WEB-DL file :
c:\Dolby-Vision ...

I use Kodi 19.3 from this site.
Its an altered version of Kodi that installs next to the Google Play Store version so you can easily test it

I know there is a way to extract the DV layer from a WEB-DL file and add it to the UHD file to have a hybrid release that contains DV and all the original info that was in the UHD MKV.

You need the latest 8.8 version of plex. If you weren’t on the beta, i think the public releases just came out today.

Does Plex Server detect DoVi data? Check file info in Plex server.
