I've learned that the LG BU40N is the way to go in terms of hardware durability and UHD, but also that it is pretty flawed when it comes to the extraction of audio CDs. You can find reports that EAC on Windows complains about the drive's caching method and that cdparanoia on Linux can't handle it at...
