Re: MakeMKV v1.17.8 ripping very slow with HDD based mkv's
Yup, I'm using MakeMKV to strip out and unneeded languages for audio and subtitle, also to strip out the Lossless audio (7.1,6.1). I find it quicker than using Mkvtoolnix to do the same processing. I then shrink them down with Staxrip. just really weird that there is such a massive speed difference ...

MakeMKV v1.17.8 ripping very slow with HDD based mkv's
I'm seeing some really weird slowness with v1.17.8 when ripping\processing MKV's that are on my nvme drives. For some reason the processing speed drops to sub 5.0x. When i cancel the job and close the GUI there is still the Makemkv console application.exe process running in the background taking up ...

Re: where does makeMKV save its prefs?
There any way of stopping the user-modded profile from being deleted when you upgrade MakeMKV?

Re: Change Audio ID for LPCM
Ahh, it didn't occur to me to use the LPCM to FLAC as a workaround.
Thanks for the very clear answer.

Change Audio ID for LPCM
Currently MakeMKV sets the Audio ID for LPCM to A_MS/ACM in the output mkv. This Audio ID can not be extracted using mkvextract. Could this be changed from A_MS/ACM to A_PCM/INT/LIT to allow better compatibility. I'm not sure if this is related to the profile, I'm using the WDTV live profile. I have...

Who Dares Win (1982)
I'm having troubles copying the NZ version of who dares win. it seem to just fail when copying.
Just before the copy fails MakeMKV goes in and out of not responding, my computer starts becoming choppy to use. Also makemkvcon64.exe is using 1,027,688K of memory for some reason.
logs attached.

MakeMKV v1.6.14 failing with Black Swan bluray
I'm trying to do a full disk backup of the Black Swan bluray with MakeMKV v1.6.14 and it throws up some debug messages and fails.
