you remuxed as bluray folder and tried to play the m2ts ? that's the problem.
You have to mux your BD straight to TS or M2TS.

you have to remux your BD with nightly tsmuxer and then you'll get true DV with m2ts/ts files. The x700 osd will confirm it

I don't know if this has been clarified before. It's about the X700 Dolby Vision capabilities. I noticed that when I play an m2ts video file that I know is in DV, the OSD of the player does not show it as a DV content, but it does trigger DV on my TV (LG B7P).

Recently I bought the 65 inch LG Oled CX. I have a lot of MP4 Dolby vision movies that play fine on my older Oled B7, but they are not whatchble on my CX, they look very dark. Is this a known problem?

I see it's a known problem. Anything to do about it? Or just download the hdr10 version ...

I tried the new Ugoos 0.40 fw mod on Minix and from now on just use Plex, DV playback is perfect from STDL MEL/FEL ts, mp4 and mkv too.

Can you give this sample from saving private ryan a try and see if you notice any flickering throughout?

I remuxed all test files to TS using the TS Muxer "w64-nightly-2020-08-28--02-20-47" version and tested on the B7P. The mkv and the DT_DL files didn't even play as a TS remux, but the ST_DL worked fine and it triggered DV.

I have no way to test what is written (I have no device capable of playing DV):
I leave HERE the files generated by the whole process in case someone wants to try them.
The result should be a black screen (10 seconds) with the "Dolby Vision" logo appearing on the screen.
