What in reading those errors led you to believe that? It's the disc and/or drive. Not a software problem.

Not curious at all. It's AACS 2.1 protected which means the KeyDB will do nothing for you.

That's an interesting thought. You'd be surprised how many people end up doing this only to find out they have a completely useless ISO image. Fascinating.

We'd need more information than that to help. Post the log information for the disc. This variation of the disc is in the KeyDB but there could be others. Does it generate a dump file like the filename I posted? Or is there some other kind of error when opening the disc? This is why the log is helpf...

My tool uses FindVUK under the covers to do the KeyDB sync. IOW, you need an internet connection to do so. You'd have to manually copy it to your non-internet machine if you do that. But that's true of all these scenarios.

What are you talking about??? "Re-encoding"?? Um. No. We repackage into an MKV. Absolutely NOTHING with the original streams change by doing that.

Clean your disc and try again. It's getting read errors.

It's a coreelec/Kodi issue. Other players like lav filters don't have the issue.

No issue with any discs in S2. Just this one is problematic. It failed in my other drive, as well. I'll take more drastic measure if needed. As I said, not really worried but just reporting that this set seems to have all kinds of quality issues.

Finally getting around to finishing ripping these. S4D4 is giving me fits at the moment. I know all the usual advice. Currently trying one of my other Pio drives but this one might be a badly mfg'd disc. Not really worried about it, just reporting my findings so far.
