Re: UHD support
The leaked keys do not come from MakeMKV. They come from the community. Currently no one outside of the person leaking the keys and the makers of DeUHD know how to handle AACS 2.0 key decryption. Wrong. I provided over 200 titles to Mike and he has created hashed keys for all of them. These were ab...

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware
I'm seeing around 45 to an hour depending on the size. But I don't have a very large collection to play with yet. LOL

Re: UHD support
I just got done ripping my first MKV and am on my second one now. I have one more after that I want to do. The 3 I submitted I'm not too worried about but if they get supported that's excellent. I will start buying more UHD's going forward as I intend to upgrade to 4K later this year.

Re: UHD support
I submitted 3 new discs. We all need to band together and submit what we can to improve it for everyone. Again, fantastic news!

Re: UHD support
Yes I see that now. I retract my previous incorrect statement. This is very exciting news for sure! I have a UHD that I guarantee NO ONE has submitted so I'll do so in a little bit.

Re: UHD drives
The Windows flasher found in the Asus firmware topic is easy to use and doesn't need laser calibration data. The WS16ns40 (svc ns50) 1.02 binary I used is zipped and attached here. Unzip and use the file tab to select it in the flasher. Neat I didn't know the windows flasher would work on the downg...

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware
That doesn't seem right, no. Well...I'll leave well enough alone then, unless I can hear from someone who has done the flash. 3.01 only increases rip speed I think. Is there no official 3.01 from Asus? I have done the flash from 3.00 to 3.01 and it worked fine. No, there's no "official" a...

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware
I have just bought this drive...it is a January 2017 manufactuer date with firmware 3.0. If 3.01 is a faster rip and has no issues otherwise, where can I get 3.01 and how to flash? Or should I just leave well enough alone? thx! https://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?p=59110#p59110 Sorry to as...

Re: UHD drives
And it IS possible to go from 1.03 to 1.02. It just requires making a bootable dos USB stick with the appropriate patched flasher and the 1.02 firmware with laser calibration data. It's not super hard it just takes a little work. 30 minutes of effort will get the drive back up and running perfectly.

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware
@TeddyRaspin I managed to flash in 1.02 but now he does not want to play any discs anymore. a solution? Thanks. You're going to need the calibration data. I ordinarily wouldn't link to a competing site's forum, but, in this case you desperately need this patch: https://forum.redfox.bz/threads/anydv...

Re: UHD drives
That's exactly what 1.03 does. It removes the ability of the drive to read UHD discs at all. You'll have to search for it, but, there's a method to revert to 1.02. I will warn you that it's not simple or straightforward because they specifically patched it to not allow firmware downgrade. But there ...
