Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
I didn't either. As for updates, you can allow it to update nightlies in the coreelec settings if you desire. They contain bug fixes but could introduce new issues. Sent from my SM-S928U1 using Tapatalk Do you notice any differences in the latest build compared to the first build 21.0? This questio...

Re: Dune Part 2 Dump Submitted
No. I'm saying it only needs the unit keys to real time decrypt like AnyDVD used to do. OK, but xreveal appears to be only for Windows, and so is still no use to me. Yea. I don't think there's any real time option for linux/mac anywhere that I'm aware of. Then again, RedFox didn't have one, either ...

Re: REBIRTH - Die Apokalypse beginnt - UHD
Correct. It'll show you in its status window if there's an applicable key in the keydb for your particular disc. It shows the disc ID for the disc either way which is quite helpful. It's a real time decrypter like the RedFox product was and uses the keydb for its source of keys. MakeMKV will of cour...

Re: Dune Part 2 Dump Submitted
And if it only has unit keys, it'll decrypt it so you can process it normally with MakeMKV. Best of all worlds. Does this mean that it can compute MK and VID for any UHD disk? AFAIK there is no other way to compute its VUK, and you don't seem to be suggesting creating a decrypted image first. What?...

Re: Dune Part 2 Dump Submitted
Yea, for those using MakeMKV they may not need the Pro features. I still recommend it given the price of a lifetime license. But this takes the guess work out of "is my disc supported in the keydb". It'll show you all the info from the keydb for your disc if an entry exists. That includes ...

Re: Dune Part 2 Dump Submitted
Now that redfox appears to be gone, there are alternatives out there that can use unit keys to decrypt. The best I've seen is xreveal which has a freeware version. Two things are great about that. One it'll tell you the disc id of your disc. The other is that it uses any keys in the keydb to real ti...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
If you're not wanting to keep it on an external USB device or memory card, then move it to the internal memory and enable the fast memory mode. That's what I did with mine and it works fine.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Mine's working fine for me, as well. I'm using PM4K as my Plex interface on it, and it's running nightlies. No audio sync issues. No ff/rw issues. Everything just works as it should. Nice little device.

Go into options, Video, look under Blu-ray Playback. Set menus to either ask or on.

Re: New 4K UHD Blu-ray titles I'm not able to decode
It will. Eventually. It's just that if there's a working key entry in the KEYDB.cfg, then you can avoid waiting for MakeMKV to internally update its hashed keys.

Re: KEYDB.cfg?
This program just came up on another forum. This looks quite interesting.
https://www.xreveal.com/
This will use the keydb.cfg to decrypt the disc. That should allow MakeMKV to open it. For those that don't have DVDfab products, this might be a good solution.

Re: KEYDB.cfg?
Right, so use PassKey to decrypt it realtime, and open the disc with MakeMKV then. That bypasses MakeMKV's decryption since PassKey will decrypt it in realtime.

Re: KEYDB.cfg?
If you used FindVUK to find the key, it won't work with MakeMKV. MakeMKV uses the VUK, which ironically, is not something FindVUK adds to the keydb. if the keydb gets updated with the VUK at some point before MakeMKV adds a key for your title to its own internal hashed keys, then it will work. Until...

Re: What software to fully read UHD Blu-ray?
This is why I use JRiver. It handles everything properly.
