Re: AACS bus encryption
Disregard... I fixed my issue. It was my fault, not the software's. Still happy with my $50 donation for the software!

I caught that, it's a blu-ray, straight rip (~20GB file). same as I have done with numerous other blu-rays. For some reason it does not want to play though.

Hi! 1) What version of Media Player Classic are you using? 2) Have you previously used the same version to successfully play HD MKVs? I'll haved to check with mpc I'm using, not sure off hand. I've had no issues with other 1080p mkv rips, have about 20 right now that I've had no problems with.

Is there any way to take a blu-ray rip mkv file (~25GB) and compress it down to a smaller size, say maybe 10gb? I'm looking for something simple hopefully

Re: Win explorer crashes when I navigate to folder with MKVs
I've been testing MakeMKV over the weekend (LOVE IT so far!) and I, too, ran into this annoying issue. For me, the problem went away after I uninstalled fully Divx 8. :( It happened on 3 different machines, and stopped happening as soon as I fully uninstalled Divx. Don't know if this will help anyo...

I changed it to display icons only, and got it to show up as small icnons, if I switch to detailed list is crashes, and if I even click the files it crashes..... any ideas? EDIT: I'm using divx as well, can ...
