Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Yes I'm sure Apocalypse n.. (remux) are played without any stutter and with atmos. But like I said with sound dropouts here and there. I'm going back to use my zidoo z9x. But if they can fix the dropouts I think I use the ugoos. Are you playing it in kodi (nexus, master) with the newest kodinerds ve...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Hmm OK strange, I only have some audio dropouts from time to time, that's all. But like I said they are also on the shield right now. You have installed the nightly version ? Maybe the TV matters ? I'm using Sony a90j but directly connected to my receiver of my Ht-a9 Soundsystem. But OK, I will chec...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Most streaming boxes on the market that are capable of playing DV MKVs (Shield, Zidoos, Dunes) can only in reality play MEL titles. These boxes lack the secondary video decoder needed to fully process an FEL title. When these players encounter an FEL title, they will simply ignore the EL and just a...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
With the vimu media player every dolby vision movie works with frame rate switch and ac3 and dts passthrough without stability issues only truehd and dtshd and dtsx doesn't (stutter) . With passthrough off every movie plays perfectly. I really hope the kodi modder can stabilise that kodi mod. You ca...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Do not use Kodi. Plex and the factory Media Player app are stable. Plex is not an option for me because I want lossless audio. Does the media player app support lossless audio and DV ? The ugoos video player don't work with mkv for me. But mp4 and .ts (ts profile 7 also sometimes buggy) worked.I us...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Any difference between Ugoos and Minix in terms of DV format support? Which one would you recommend,? Funnily enough I found the Minix loaded with the Ugoos 4.0 firmware to perform slightly better than the Ugoos when using Kodi in terms of stuttering after seeking. I've also found that running the ...

Re: Question about ripping DolbyVision and playing it
Do you guys think that makemkv can have a Fel to Mel converter build into the program ? That would be awesome.
