Changing the region code involve changing a file in the file tree of the DVD. Which is read only.
So if you know how to change a read only file on a read only file system, bob's your uncle....

None, the only way to get true DV with all its layers currently is a player and use disc media.
But real Kodi or some of its variants can do DV except for the FEL layer.

Kodi 20 Nexus currently does not do DV, but it is to be implemented in Kodi 21 Omega. Looks like the nightlies have already been updated to do DV.

Your problem was you wer trying to flash to NS55 1.02 directly. You cannot do this from an encrypted firmware.
