Yep, do that all the time and so far no issues.

Re: 4k UHD MKV samples available?
Does anyone have short clips of these kinds of rips they'd be willing to share? Does anyone know of a source of these kinds of test clips, or can someone trim a few seconds of a clip for me without re-encoding anything and point me to it for testing? Thanks. This should keep you occupied for some t...

Once more for clarity, the main question is: What device(s)/software/configuration would allow me to play all my Blu-Ray rips with full Dolby Vison AND Dolby Atmos? Preferably 3D movies as well, but I can live without that one. You will not get "full Dolby Vision" from rips as they will n...

Re: Media Player
None, the only way to get true DV with all its layers currently is a player and use disc media.
But real Kodi or some of its variants can do DV except for the FEL layer.

Re: UHD Enabled Drives (Australia & NZ only) & DIY "Single Drive Flasher UI" available worldwide!!
So I'm just curious about how YOUR value proposition differs from that of 'store bought' drives like the Verbatim slim 4K UHD reader/writer, or any of the internal drives plus enclosure that can be purchased from scorptec, etc? I.e., Why purchase your product when I could go through Amazon.com.au -...

Re: Error Code when trying to flash BH16NS55 (1.05 currently)
Your problem was you wer trying to flash to NS55 1.02 directly. You cannot do this from an encrypted firmware. As stated in many places (including Billy's guide) when you have encrypted firmware, flash to NS60 1.02-MK, then you can flash to another firmware if you want to. Marty, I have a BH16NS55 ...
