Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.3
Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be working. I have tried it in 2 scenarios (below) with unexpected results. Am I doing something wrong? Scenario 1: MKV with original BL and EL tracks embedded. Supplying an MKV with both of the original BL and EL tracks embedded to MakeMKV 1.15.3 does not return...

Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.3
I did try running my old MKVs through MKVtoolnix again, but MakeMKV still wouldn't recognize the EL. MakeMKV 1.15.3 ? If yes, please cut a 5-10 seconds with mkvtoolnix and send the resulting (small) MKV file to support@makemkv.com (probably using some file sharing service). I'll check... My files a...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
As a partially deaf person I heavily rely on subtitles but so far I have not been able to get subtitles working on any of my DV files. Currently I am using following method: Use tsmuxer to get 'bl' and 'el' Audio and Subtitles (PGS) files Generate a bl-el-rpu file using 'yusesope' tool (mode 1) Use...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Using the new MakeMKV and tsmuxer, I was able to convert my old 2 video stream MKV to a proper DV MKV - yeah! But although the first one looked perfect, Gladiator has a huge red push to the color and a bit of crush on the blacks. I'm using latest Nvidia shield with exoplayer. Would the FEL/MEL conve...

Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.3
1) Is tsmuxer-4.06 necessary, or should I use another version to maintain maximum information? I know there are several versions of tsmuxer for DV, but I'm not savvy to the differences. Should I just use the latest nightly? 2) tsmuxer takes a long time and doesn't support queuing. Is there a way to...

Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.3
Using an old version of MakeMKV, I used to backup my disks, and then use MKVtoolnix to create an MKV with both video streams embedded. The videos have always played fine, though without DV. I now have Shield/Kodi/Exoplayer setup, and can play the newer MKVs from 1.15.2+ But when I try and open one ...

Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.1
Just got a chance to test it out. Dolby Vision triggers, and video & audio playback are fine. I'm getting a black screen with audio for Pitch Black, using 2018 LG OLED/Atmos Receiver/Shield Pro/Kodi/Exoplayer from a 1.15.2 decode. If I just use videoplayer in Kodi, I get HDR and Atmos. I'm gues...

Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.1
Anyone have pitch black uhd and converted it to mkv? Tried to play it on the shield like usual and it triggered dv but completely black screen with audio playing. It's a mel title. First one of my rips I've seen do this. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk My copy just arrived. I will test it out ...

Re: Official Dolby Vision MKV spec support
In this world of Covid, very much looking forward to remastering my MKVs to DV so I can rewatch them in their glory. Any expectation on release date for next MakeMKV version? And Mike, thank you very much for the work you have already done on this terrific app. IMHO, you have made the world a better...

Will the next version of Makemkv support muxing an MKV with 2 video streams (made with mkvtoolnix from an old Makemkv backup) into a DV-compliant MKV? https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=18602&p=94209#p94209 When I tried to PM you... "We are sorry, but you are not author...
