Mike, thanks. What I've read here is that if it works, don't mess with the firmware. I take it that that's good advice :D

I've read the posts about LibreDrive. How important is it to have that?

Woodstock, thanks for that, I'll remember that on new discs. The Blu-ray discs I have are a bit older and have been out of their packaging. As mentioned, I did do cleaning. Isopropyl alcohol saved a couple so I'm sure that's an issue. But some still don't fly even after a good clean. For me I think ...

In my evaluation period for MakeMKV now for a few days and working to archive a set of Blu-Ray and DVD discs. I like the program, very handy but am having the following issue.
