Re: LibreDrive compatible drive is required to open this disc
It looks like you're using a Mac. Are you on Intel or Apple Silicon? Which OS are you on? I use a Mac. I even have an ASUS BW-16D1HT on firmware 3.10 like you. I've ripped a few dozen UHDs and never seen the error you posted. I do not have Schindler's List to try, however. Have you updated the OS r...

Re: LibreDrive compatible drive is required to open this disc
Something is preventing makemkv from having full access to the drive things that can cause this are vms docker containers or sandboxes Thanks for your reply! I don't have any sandboxes or docker containers running. The thing is that I have tested with other discs and all of them work beside this one.

LibreDrive compatible drive is required to open this disc
I'm trying to RIP one of my discs but I keep getting "LibreDrive compatible drive is required to open this disc - video can't be decrypted." error. As far as I know, I already have a LibreDrive compatible driver with the right firmware. Anyone else has experienced this? I have ripped 50 di...

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT scratched UHD Disc
this happened to me not long ago, my Asus badly damaged a Chernobyl UHD disc, deep circular scratch, not even my LG BU40N could get past it. I bought a new Asus on the assumption that the drive should probably not be used again (I like its read speed for my blu rays), but I'll probably stick with t...

Do I have a very rare defective model or is that normal? Any way to fix it or should I return it under warranty? sadly any drive can do this it usually h...

Hey everyone, I just bought an ASUS BW-16D1HT which has firmware 3.10 on it. I'm trying to use this tool to flash it to ASUS-BW-16D1HT-3.10-WM01601-211901041014.bin in the folder but I'm getting this error "updating failure #1". My setup: Windows 10 using Parallels on MacBook Pro The ASUS...
