The PGS subtitle format of BluRays is indeed currently not supported by the Popcorn 1xx family (as of firmware version 01-17-090204-15-POP-403-000, the latest as of this writing).
The problem with subtitles on BluRays lies with the Popcorn units, and not with ...

Seconding that both of these would be "nice to have."
For #1, I would add "play a completion sound" would be good too. :D
As far as #2, I have the same problem. With two drives, If I'm ripping a DVD (say, via AnyDVD) when I launch MakeMKV, it can't see the second drive as ready to go. This is in ...

[SOLVED] Bundle a MakeMKV icon with the Linux version?
Could you bundle the MakeMKV icon in with the Linux version? This would make homebrew application launchers for the various desktops look more attractive with the familiar logo. Either a PNG or JPG is preferred if you see fit to do this.
thanks!

[REQUEST] Remember previous 'files' directory
First, let me say THANKS for a native Linux implementation of this *wonderful* tool! I've recently switched from Windoze to Linux and it was incredibly nice to have one of my favorite tools available natively. The fact that is two to three times faster than its Windoze counterpart is just icing on ...

[SOLVED by v1.4.6] Aspect Ratios?
Would it be possible to include the aspect ratios in the title information? Sometimes there are two movies on a disc, and it would help to know which one is the 'widescreen', and which one is the 'full screen' without having to go to another tool.
Thanks for the consideration!

Re: MakeMKV's disk usage
It sounds like you're in Windoze disk-thrash mode. How much main memory does your system have? (My Computer -> Properties)
MakeMKV uses a fair bit of RAM. I've seen it get as high as 500MB memory consumption when ripping Blurays. If you've got less than 1GB of RAM, I would try closing everything ...

Re: Expired Program Version 1.4.1
Version 1.4.2 was released around 27-Apr-2009. The 60 days is apparently calculated from the date the program was released--not the date you installed the program. I've been using MakeMKV for quite some time now, and they never let it expire without releasing a new version.

A Request for two small features
First, let me express thanks for MakeMKV! It is precisely the tool I was looking for. Kudos to the developers for addressing the need.
I hesitate to ask for two small features as it takes time away from other meaningful work on the product, but here goes anyway. :-D
