No, it looks like a dual layer remux but it won't work on anything as the EL doesn't have Dolby Vision.

I have the same set up as you plus a Denon AVR 2300, and I just had this happen, only the once mind you. Think the fact that I was copying a UHD to the same share as I was trying to play form so the Shield took a few seconds extra to start the movie and it flicked up as HDR. Stopped the film and ...

Totally aware, but that's not the point. It should at least trigger Dolby Vision on all of the samples.

Just buy a Shield, it plays any form of single layer Dolby Vision you can throw at it and it also supports TrueHD Atmos.

On the Firestick 4K, the Plex app crashes when backing out. Don't have a Plex forum account otherwise I'd comment there.
For playback (makemkv samples):
Profile 5 > nothing triggered
Profile 7, MEL > HDR triggered
Profile 7, FEL > Dolby Vision triggered, black screen
Profile 8.1 > HDR triggered ...

TS and MKV are both containers so they make no difference to quality, MKV is preferable as it supports chapters and subtitles.

Thanks, read from page 62 and it’s more of using Kodi to play DV mkv movies with exoplayer. I tried using 1.15.2 and ended up with 2 mkvs files, I supposed one is the 4K rip and the other DV layer, now how do I combine them as one and with Atmos track inside?

Hi guys, I’m new to this software and trying to see if there’s a step by step tutorial to rip raw blu-ray movies to extract Dolby Vision + Atmos into a format to be played by Plex in Shield 2019?

I tried to read through this thread but seems like there are bits and pieces of info so I’m not sure ...

Is anyone else having an issue with playback failing at precisely 15:36? It does it with multiple files so definitely not a corrupt file.
