Workaround...decrypted using DVDFab, reconstructed DVD using TMPGenc editor then used MakeMKV to get successful result! Bit long winded but it worked ...

Many thanks have returned offending disk. Am still successfully managing to copy almost all my discs so suspect it's not the drive.

The MakeMKV process starts OK. Just over half way through the process just stops. Progress bars stay on screen but everything hangs. Have left it like that for more than an hour before having to terminate. Have tried this 3 times now and have cleaned disk. No blemishes. Any advice would be gratefull...

Several attempts produce failure. Disk drive is ATAPI iHIS104. (LITE-ON BluRay reader) Regional code has not been changed and is set at 2. Disk is also region 2.

Battle of Britain has subtitles which appear when foreign (sorry non-English..French or German) is spoken.

Managed to take advice and the disk has now been converted into MKV.

I did do that originally and it failed. Will try to clean disk to see if helps and try again. Thanks for your advice.

MakeMKV crashes after a few seconds. The file was decrypted with DVDFab. Latest combo svq installed. Will run as a m2ts file but cannot convert to MKV.

Sorry about that. In fact, on the fourth attempt (I cleaned the disk before each one) the disk has saved correctly. Many thanks.
