On a Mac, Roxio Toast Pro can author a blu-ray disc. On Windows, Nero Burning Rom should be able to author a blu-ray.
Do you really need to burn a disc? Many blu-ray players can play a file from a USB flash drive. Lots of TVs can too.

Re: No dump file created for AACS v82 discs
MakeMKV should create the dump automatically. The dump file should be in MakeMKV's data directory (check the General tab in preferences). If the file is already in the directory, it will not create it again.

Re: AACS v82 Hazbin Hotel BD
You should email the dumps to svq@makemkv.com so a key can be created for MakeMKV's built in hashed key mechanism. A few days after emailing the dump, try the disc again and if a key is available, MakeMKV will download it automatically in the background. There is a separate second decryption mechani...

Re: AACS v82 Blu-ray Disc dump submission -- DOGMA
Playing the waiting game myself! Checked again today and still can't open it. Took the above advice and backed up the whole disc so I don't keep throwing it in and checking. Hopefully it'll get sorted soon! You should email the dump to svq@makemkv.com so a key can be created for MakeMKV's built in ...

Re: Disc uses newer version of AACS Tom and Jerry The golden Era Anthology Disc 4
Having issues with "This disc uses newer version of AACS protection." error on Tom and Jerry The Golden Era Anthology 1940-1958 Disc 4. First three discs worked fine. I will be trying the 5th later today, as well as the extras disc. You should email those dumps to svq@makemkv.com so a key...

Re: Help choosing a drive?
I have an ASUS BW-16D1HT and an LG WH16NS60, both are older from back when LG's quality control was higher than it is now (before the COVID pandemic). Those drives are fine. I have two newer Pioneer drives from before Pioneer stopped making drives. My Pioneer drives produce successful rips more ofte...

Re: Problem with getting HDR
Which movie is it? I have a few 4K UHDs in my collection that don't have any HDR. Flow (2024) is the most recent title I've encountered without any HDR, although as a Criterion release the box was correctly labeled.

Re: New Beta Key is invalid
I think sometimes a copy & paste can add a space at the end. It assumes you're going to type the next word in a sentence, which is often helpful except in this case.

Re: New Beta Key is invalid
MakeMKV is free while in beta
Sure you're trying to use the current beta key? And that there's not an extra space or a character missing?

Re: Problem with getting HDR
Every 4K UHD that I've used with MakeMKV has had the HDR I expected it to have. It always shows up on the HDR format line in MediaInfo when I examine the resulting .mkv file. I don't even think about it or try to look for it in the MakeMKV tree.

Re: Suggested OS For Ripping/Media Player Station?
I generally agree with flojo. I do ripping on my desk where it is convenient to store optical drives and access them and my computer at the same time. I have an AppleTV 4K plugged into my TV that does all my client duties. I use TrueNAS on a PC with a dozen hard drives for storage. It sits in a util...

Re: Problem with getting HDR
Do you have the latest version of MediaInfo? It looks like 25.10 is the most recent release.
