Are you trying to rip commercial blu-rays or burned discs? The label of 'BDROM' in the Disc Information section of the picture you posted caught my eye as being unusual.

I'm not certain what the error message you highlighted really means.

You could try gently cleaning the disc.

On Linux, BU40N drives often work better on 1.00 firmware. I do not know if that will solve your problem in this case.

I make decrypted backups of discs first and then create .mkv files from the backup. I see that message every single time when creating .mkv files. An error like this: means the optical drive was unable to correctly read the data at a spot on the disc. The standard advice is to gently clean the disc and try again.

The program's author, Mike, has talked about a feature like that in the past.
