Re: AACS V82 Slash
Please explain it to me like I'm an idiot. I use Make MKV, I'm not an expert at it. Thanks I presume you're confused about what to do with the dump file MakeMKV produced and how it relates to eventually being able to rip your disc. I wrote a more detailed post here: https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/...

Re: Funny little messsage: doesn't affect anything
Woodstock is right… usually an ISP or a firewall is blocking access. At the moment, however, there is a bug that might be the root cause.

Re: LG BP50NB40 NB50 Not Flashing Correctly
Hi all, Just used the Flash GUI to flash this drive. Followed the steps as shown. Flashed to 1.03, then recovered to BU40N 1.0. And now nothing. It wont read any disc and I have to force eject it. Just spins forever "reading" the disc no matter if its a UHD or not. Attached is a screensho...

Re: Attack On Titan - All Discs showing debug codes
There are lots of ways to clean a disc. The most important thing to remember is whatever method you use you don't want to scratch the disc. The data on the disc is written in a giant spiral like a vinyl record. If you're going to touch the disc, the motion should be perpendicular to that data spiral...

Re: Latest version of MakeMKV won't open Blu-Ray disc
It won't download the SDF file and if you download it manually it just locks up the program and deletes the BIN file which results in the program being in a perpetual state of "opening" but just sits there and does nothing. It looks like Mike released a big change today: SDF update Novemb...

Re: Multiple instances
I think they did it all in Lightwave 3D ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LightWave_3D ). Wikipedia says Lightwave came out for Mac and Windows in 1994 and was discontinued on Amiga in 1995. Babylon 5 started in February 1993. The visual effects were achieved using Amiga-based Video Toasters at first,...

Re: What did I get of a drive...
Thanks for the info! :) If downgrading the firmware: Is it known, what improvements of the firmware I will loose in comparison to version 1.05 of the firmware? I can't answer that question. The firmware recommendations in the Guide are the ones that have empirically proven themselves to be the best...

Re: Multiple instances
I occasionally use two and sometimes three drives at a time and they all operate independently. I've seen Billycar11 post pictures of a dozen drives in use at a time on his Windows machine while testing drives being preparing for sale. I've seen people on the forum get frustrated that the limit seem...

There was undoubtedly more than those two lines. I have no idea what might be happening from only those two lines.

Re: Multiple instances
After turning on that setting, when you start MakeMKV it should ask you which drive you want to lock that instance of MakeMKV to. Pick one of your drives, don't pick 'All drives'. To use a second drive, make a new instance of MakeMKV. Lock that instance to a different drive by picking a different dr...

Re: trueblood 2 seasons, multiple disks, multiple drives same failures
Errors like this: Error 'Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:L-EC UNCORRECTABLE ERROR' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00027.m2ts' at offset '389677056' mean that the drive was unable to correctly read a spot on the disc. The standard advice is to gently clean the disc and try again. A regular disc playe...

What does the MakeMKV log (the bottom part of the window) say when this happens?
