There's a spot on that disc that the optical drive doesn't like. If cleaning the disc doesn't resolve it, you could try the disc in a different drive if you have access to one. Regular disc players are setup to plow through spots they can't read and hope you don't notice the resulting glitch. MakeMK...

A significant percentage of the new discs I buy need to be cleaned before my optical drive will properly read it. I use plenty of warm water and liquid dish soap. Be sure the disc is dry before it goes back into your optical drive.

Also, you can let the OS 'see' the disc before you launch MakeMKV.

Pioneer drives are held in high regard. The easiest thing to do at the moment is buy a drive from Asmcom. They'll sell you a drive that'll work with MakeMKV and they've got some of the last new Pioneer drives for sale.
