Do you have a different drive you can try? In my experience, some drives just don't like some discs.

That's a triple layer disc. Is the drive struggling at the layer break? That might explain why it fails at the same offset on two discs.

Can the drive rip other triple-layer 4K UHDs?

I'm curious how you managed the 210TB of storage. A big NAS? Up to 8 discs in a NAS or even as direct attached storage seems relatively easy. Going beyond 8 discs seems cost and order of magnitude more money.

I don't use MakeMKV on a headless linux box, but I know others have had this trouble in the past.

MakeMKV is just copying what's on the disc. So, if you rip a 4K UHD, you'll get a big file. Regular blu-rays are about half as big.
