It's unused. I tried ripping it fresh out of the box, so the disc can't be the problem. STill there are som error messages in the log.

The disc can be a problem even if it is new from a sealed case. Try cleaning the shiny side of the disc with dish soap and then try again. This is not a joke.

Anyone got a lot of dropped frames for AV synchronization during ripping? The ripped MKV played with a lot of little stutters for me.

These were all custom encoded and not pure rips. What happened when you play the remux version?
