Whenever I get this ILLEGAL REQUEST message, I close MakeMKV, then run VLC from Videolan to open and begin playing the disk, just to get past the menu and start the main feature. Then while it is playing, I open MakeMKV and tell it to open the same drive. MakeMKV then has no problem. I then exit and...
