I have 4 drives (H, I, J and K) and use them all to rip disks. One aspect that would be useful was a command line prompt to start MakeMKV with a drive pre-selected.

Then I could have a batch file that contained ...

MakeMKV.exe -H:
MakeMKV.exe -I:
MakeMKV.exe -J:
MakeMKV.exe -K:

... and I would ...

I have PBS' Endeavour Season 7. There are two blue-ray disks with Eps 1 and 2 on Disc 1 and 3 on Disc 2.

MakeMKV reports 988 titles on disk 1. There seems to be two general types, one 5 chapters and 48 mins long and one 9 chapters and 90 mins long. I know that each eps is approx 90 mins long. I ...

Thanks ... I have that enabled. I would like to bypass the 'select drive' dialog box and use a command line parameter to tell MakeMKV which drive to use.

Can I suggest a small mod here ... I have two drives (E: and F:) and have to start two instances of MakeMKV. Not that difficult ... but it would be a little bit easier if I had two shortcuts with the following targets ...

Edit: I was going to ask for help about how to use this feature ... but while I was writing this up ... I solved it. More accurately, I got out of my own way.

So ... I ended up flashing my new drive using the HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WH14NS40-NS50-1.04-NM01201-211901041351.bin file.

I just picked up a new LG drive (WH14NS40) after my old one died.
