Re: Independence Day Blu-Ray Not Working
What tracks do you see in the MKV container when open in mkvmerge? Did you try to remux the file?

Re: Independence Day Blu-Ray Not Working
Agreed. What portions of the disc are you ripping? I had a single movie that gave me invalid source errors when loadig into Handbrake. It would play fine in VLC and Mediaportal (Haali Media Splitter decoding), but simply would not open in HB at all. I finally discovered that it was one of the audio ...

Re: Independence Day Blu-Ray Not Working
I had no problem ripping Independence Day Blu-Ray US on my Mac with 1.5.8. I did not try on Windows but will tonight to see if I can replicate.

I had the same issue with this same disk. I exchanged it and all was fine. It appears that they had a run of bad pressings.

Death Race 2000 BD fails at 10%
Sorry to double-post, but this was opened by someone else in the DVD forum. I thought it should be here as I am using the BD version of the film. I am experiencing an issue where this movie stops at about 10-15% and says "Complete". The output file is the first 3.35GB of the movie. The mov...

Re: Rip speed 0,3x - once it was faster...
Naw... I think it may be my drive. I put it on my Mac and had the same problem. I'm taking the BD-ROM from my Mac and hooking it to my Win PC in a few minutes.
UPDATE: It's the drive.... crap! I guess it's been too heavily used.

Re: Death Race 2000 (Old movie from 1975)
Hang tight. I'm ripping that one right now! I'll post my results here.
UPDATE: Yep... same thing. It stops at about 10-15% and says "Complete", but the output file is only 3.35GB. I'm ripping the BD version of this movie, not sure if you are ripping the same or not.

Re: Rip speed 0,3x - once it was faster...
Not to jack the thread, but I have to say I have the same issue. Everything was groovy until the 1.5.8 update. Now I run at 0.7x and it takes about 4 hours to rip a BD, so something is going on. No DMA issues for me as I'm using SATA. No settings changes between 1.5.6 and 1.5.8. Also running XP Pro ...

Re: Feature requests
Not wanting to rip again is why I stored my SD DVDs in ISO format. Doesn't help me much today, and I considered that when I decided to compress my BD rips. We used to think that DVD was really good resolution! It also helped that I converted from Win to Mac at about the same time as BD won out. I th...

Re: Feature requests
@Krobar Where are you storing these files? My BD rips average 16GB per file (movie only), and that would eat up a lot of storage in a hurry. I have 8TB on my media server and even that would fill up fast. I have several hundred movies and TV series on there in h.264 format. I maybe watch a single mo...
