Hi, I just purchased a Pioneer RS8801 of Ebay and needed a flash for the drive. Does anyone know if there is one for this drive and I use a Mac and need instructions on how to install that.

My bad, I only saw the part where he used the sdftool flasher to flash the drives and I was like what a rip off. I watched the whole video and realized I missed the the extra flashing to enable omni.

I'm going to say it's a rip off of what we can already do here.

Seeing to many people here flashing drives and bricking them.

Before you try flashing your LG/Asus drives check to make you see 2015.05.08 printed on the back pcb board next to the sata/power port. If it's not there do not cross flash it.

Seller on eBay has tons of used Pioneer drives in the model rang of 05 to 209 with cheap shipping.

Looks like so far from what I have found both UD03/UD04 have the same firmware rev. 1.14 2020-06-15. So Maybe the 12/22+ might have a rev. 1.15?
