It was a DVD. I have since copied another and this time no message like this. It must have had something to do with that particular disk.

Okay, thanks, I had posted that prior to seeing your response. I will use flashing tool by Blackened2687, and flash WH16NS60 1.02 firmware.

I have a LG WH14NS40 with 1.03 firmware. How does this procedure in this post change for 1.03 instead of 1.04?

What is the simplest way to make this drive a Libredrive?
