I've tested blu-ray and my pioneer bdr 205 works okay so far.
burning speeds have exceeded 4x on 4x media so I can't complain.

yourboyvic.com/firmware.png shows my pioneer at firmware 1.04 and it works fine recognizes and burns DVDs, have yet to test burning and recognizing blu ray discs however. Might want to check it out. the pioneer site has 1.08 for windows, can't find the firmware updates for mac os x but here is anoth...
