Re: CLI Argument to open MakeMKV with Specific Drive?
It's been a couple years, just wondering if this was ever added to MakeMKV?

Re: King of Queens Blu-ray S5D2E20 "The source file is corrupt or invalid at offset"
The issue was the disc. I ended up getting another box set and was able to read that episode from the new disc just fine. Just wanted to post an update on this issue just in case anyone else comes across this in the future. Thanks Woodstock.

Re: SDFtool Flasher
I just purchased a new LG drive, see screenshot from MKV snip and I tried to downgrade the firmware from 1.05 to 1.02 but I keep getting the error shown in screenshot error. I am running windows 11, shouldn't make a difference I would think. Am I using the wrong firmware or is it some other issue? ...

Re: SDFtool Flasher
I've been doing some testing and it seems that the only way to switch between MK firmware on a BP50NB40-NB50 is by using the "RECOVER" option in SDFtool Flasher. For example, a BP50NB40-NB50 that has 1.03 MK Firmware on it, I'm unable to downgrade to 1.01 unless I use the "RECOVER&qu...

CLI Argument to open MakeMKV with Specific Drive?
Is there a command-line argument that I can use to open the MakeMKV GUI with a specific drive? I'm aware of using SIngle Drive Mode, but what I'm looking for specifically is to be able to open MakeMKV with a specific drive via either the CLI or a Shortcut. For example, "makemkv.exe /d G:" ...

Re: King of Queens Blu-ray S5D2E20 "The source file is corrupt or invalid at offset"
You must have missed the part where I wrote... I've tried four different blu-ray drives and two different models, and all fail at the same point. Specifically, I've tried the same disc in three different LG BP50NB40 drives, and I also tried it in my LG BH16NS40. They all fail at the same point. Ther...

King of Queens Blu-ray S5D2E20 "The source file is corrupt or invalid at offset"
I'm trying to backup my King of Queens Blu-ray box set and I've run across an error that I've never seen before. I was able to backup the entire box set (206 episodes) except ONE EPISODE! Season 5 Disc 2 Episode 20 (Driving Reign). While backing up the title, MakeMKV gets just under halfway and then...

Re: LG BP50NB40 (NB40) vs (NB50) Internal Hardware & Firmware
So are you suggesting that 1.01-MK is better to run than 1.03-MK? Right now I'm using 1.03-MK and everything seems to be working fine. But if you're suggesting that 1.01-MK is superior then obviously I would go ahead and flash that instead.

Re: LG BP50NB40 (NB40) vs (NB50) Internal Hardware & Firmware
Thanks for the info. Sounds like I'd be better of just selling my older NB40 drives and buying two more NB50's. That brings me back to the second part of my question, which FW is the best to use with the BP50NB40-NB50? 1.01, 1.02, or 1.03? I see there is a HBD FW to allow reading UHD discs, which I'...

LG BP50NB40 (NB40) vs (NB50) Internal Hardware & Firmware
I currently have two LG BP50NB40-NB40 drives that I purchased back in 2015 which both have FW v1.00 on them. I recently purchased two more BP50NB40 drives but they are the newer NB50 revision and come with FW 1.03. I successfully replaced the FW on the NB50 drives with MK FW using SDFtool, and the d...
