Re: Hashcheck errors request/suggestion - RESOLVED
Some feedback: (I have libraDrive fully patched latest version from here) Windows version makeMKV I was able to create an ISO using imageburn (V2.5.8.0) I then ran: makemkvcon64 --decrypt backup disc:c:\temp\disc.ISO d:\temp which reported hash errors but completed (with a failed message) I was the...

Re: Chaos Walking (NA) (Best Buy) - Here is the correct segment map
Another UHD with a lot of playlist obfuscation, the correct segment map is: 505,500,502,503,504,501,509 Awesome thanks so much! Picked up the RedBox and it had a different segment map than the 10 segment one posted, but it looks like it's 523.mpls for all versions regardless. Mine matched up perfec...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
People have always had mixed results with DV TS file playback on the LG internal player. With full rips, some have worked flawlessly and some will stutter to no end. I've always suggested that if the LG internal player is your only playback device, leave tsmuxer alone and stick to the old mp4muxer ...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
You should always use crf, and also check the following settings in the x265 options menu of staxrip: Vui page: HDR10 - yes; Block-level luma and chroma QP optimization for HDR10 content - check this box Slice Decision page: Open gop - uncheck (no open-GOP); min GOP size 1, Max GOP size 24 Hey Papi...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
I've experimented a lot, re-encoding the BL layer with staxrip/x265 and 0.0.4alfa always merged it with EL without any problem. Also I have an m9702 so I can just mux the re-encoded BL and EL into full UHD BDVM structure (with tsMuxeR) and DV works. I spent hours by testing the results (re-encoded ...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
For this type of experiment, I recommend using the 0.0.4 alfa version of my tool. You're right when you say "it's the EL where all the DV info lives" but keep in mind that the info contained in EL are "calibrated" on those inside BL. If you re-encode BL, logically, you should al...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Is there anyway to use handbrake to compress the base file before using your special tool? For this type of experiment, I recommend using the 0.0.4 alfa version of my tool. You're right when you say "it's the EL where all the DV info lives" but keep in mind that the info contained in EL a...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Handbrake does not handle HDR, let alone DV, so you lose the color mapping. Also, if you compress the main video track, the hints in the DV track would no longer be valid. Hey Woodstock, the EL i've already separated from the MakeMKV backup. So I had both streams, base and enhancement - are you say...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
I've been doing it in handbrake then using Tsmuxer to extract the hevc file - but when I pop it in the tool it only starts analyzing and building the base layer and ignores the enhancement layer... Re: WANTED: Results of UHD Rips with Dolby Vision
You guys do realize you can make an MP4 (I know not MKV) Dolby Vision back up from an ISO? You'll need to demux an ISO and grab both video layers. Than you need to run it through a Dolby Vision Mp4muxer which is available for free online. The only caveat is the audio has to be in ac3 format. But if...
