Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
I can't seem to make a proper MEL mkv for 1917 using either gamma or beta. The generated mkv runs fine on MPC-HC but not on PLEX on my Sony X90H TV (The files starts playing from the start but I cant seek it forward as it gets stuck in endless loading trying to seek the file forward). I have done F...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
making mkv using makemkv right ? after demuxing the MEL BL_EL_RPU file and muxing them in tsmuxer to iso? how do you check that the DV layers end up out of sync or not? Correct. Makemkv will tell you that the two layers are out of sync, seems to always occur at just after the 47 minute mark (durati...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
No DV support for UHD Bluray on the Xbox Series X, DV is only available through streaming apps. Yeah but it'll be interesting to know if it too can play DV MEL (or FEL converted to MEL) titles like the Firestick 4k. Through the modified exoplayer of course, or Plex. Not likely. No chance for exopla...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Slightly off topic, but will the new Xbox series X and S playback these STDL DV MKVs? AFAIK, they support DV for streaming apps but not UHD disks. Just like many TVs and Firestick 4k DV implementation. I'm planning on getting the series S if they do support these files.

Re: Official Dolby Vision MKV spec support
I have succesfully made a few mkv's from my uhd backups. Now i want to add Dutch subs. Can i use MKVToolnix for this to put subs with the exsisting mkv file and mux it? Will i still have Dolby Vision on the output file? Best regards Yes, just make sure to use the latest version. It preserves the DV...

Followed your suggestion. Now the program works but the file generated does not contain any chapter and also it does not start playing and stays at zero Hi, I got the program to run, my output file didn’t transfer chapters either, I haven’t had time to try on a device yet (so busy at work). I muxed...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Has anyone had any success on making DV work in 'Alita & Godzilla King of Monster' on Firestick4k? All I get is black screen with sound only. Is it because it's a HDR10+ and DV title? Tried Muxing in MP4 but getting HDR10+ and no DR :/ I've tested Godzilla KOTM on my android TV (exact same DV i...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
3 films: The Shining, Doctor sleep and Jaws. They are DV Mel and also HDR10+ compatible. None of them plays in Firestick 4k. Audio only with black screen. Anyone can explain why? My android TV has the exact same DV implementation as Firestick 4k. I've tested The Shining which I ripped using 1.15.2 ...
