Re: does the GPU play a role in ripping and streaming?
I've had several Roku's, several Apple TV's, several Dune players, just about every type of media player out there. Right now I use my Denon receiver to decode all my audio. Right now I have been using the latest Nvidia Shield Pro. Since it has a 1Gb port and has great decoding capability as does my...

Re: M2TS to MKV
is this m2ts file already decrypted or did you just copy it off the disc? but either way makemkv is kinda meant to make mkv off discs directly This is from a rip right off the disc. Not encrypted. I don't think this program is meant just to be used for discs, as I have been using it for years to co...

M2TS to MKV
One issue issue I'm coming up with, seems makeMKV cannot read the M2TS file.

Re: website down?
I see the same thing. Bills not paid. I'm a registered lifetime user and I believe I got the last version that was accessible. I went to just check to see if there were updates. One of the best and highly used programs ever used, I really hope this isn't the end.

Version 1.16.7 says I have AnyDVD loaded
Question is in the Subject. Registered version. Windows 10 x64. Nothing close to AnyDVD running. Must be thinking about something else running?

Re: Default to HD master?
I went here http://www.upcitemdb.com/upc/25192010378 Got the UPC and stuck it in DVDProfiler program and it downloaded the entire disc series information from all 4 seasons and the movies. I'll need to review a little further how far DVDProfiler works, since I would end up wanting it to just copy th...

Re: Default to HD master?
Really, you're just going to leave us hanging? I just looked at the disc with CloneBD, it shows two separate orderings and they're both wrong. There's a two parter on the disc and in neither of its orders does part 2 come directly after part 1. Well technically there's a third order where part 2 do...

Re: Default to HD master?
Thanks for the info. I was thinking more or less like ripping an audio CD with PowerAmp. Stick in the disc, track information populates from the Internet (META DATA) like most stuff then rip. I was able to find an alternative that took guesswork and additional steps out of the process. Have a good o...

Re: ... Here's a thought ...
Is it possible to limit the number of threads a new user can create? To be honest, I don't see any reason even the most seasoned forum member should feel the need to create more than five in a single day. What are you talking about? If you don't want to read something just skip it and move on. Unle...

Re: Default to HD master?
You need to edit the default selection. http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4386 Preferences->General->Expert Mode || Advanced->default selection rule I Just ripped the complete BSG collection along with a bunch of other shows. If you can find the Powershell ISE on your PC, try t...

Default to HD master?
Is there a way to default to select HD master audio instead of regular DD? I'm ripping my BG series onto disk and want to make sure I'm doing it correctly. Here is a snap shot of what it looks like when it reads the Bluray.

Re: Mapped network drives and Windows 10
I'm not exactly sure where my new issue with MakeMKV is taking place but I am no longer able to see mapped network drives. I have recently had to rebuild my desktop from scratch (catastrophic primary hard drive crash) and replaced it with a new solid state drive, so I upgraded to Windows 10 from Wi...

Re: Tomorrowland not ripping fullly
And the reason for not ripping directly with MakeMKV was ..... what? If you have something else rip the disk, then try to use MakeMKV against what it wrote, you have two variables in your equation, and no way of telling which one had a problem. Rip the disk directly with MakeMKV, with debug logging...

Tomorrowland not ripping fullly
I ripped the disc to ISO, then used MakeMKV and it only produced 2:02 of running time. It cut off right before it started to roll credits. Why would it do this? I selected the entire video and rolling credits are like 10 minutes long.
