Re: Trouble flashing drive

After flashing you drive with the old version of makemkv, did you go back to the newest version? That should fix the AACS issue of the version on disc being newer than in makemkv. Can't guarantee it will fix the other issue of invalid or corrupt m2ts file, though.

Flashing LG model BP50NB40-NB52 - A Guide

I recently helped get an LG model BP50NB40-NB52 drive flashed using the CLI in Linux and thought I'd post here for anyone who may be looking for this information in the future. While the Ultimate flashing guide was helpful, we struggled a bit to understand what was needed for this drive with regards...

Re: Linux - Cant flash Firmware to ASUS BW-16D1HT 3.11

Try version 1.17.6 from this page: https://makemkv.com/download/old/ For Linux, it is seemingly the last known bug free version of makemkvcon. Thank you! I have been struggling with this for the past couple of hours before I found this post. Downloaded and used 1.17.6 and worked flawlessly from the...

Dump Submitted - The Camerman (1928) - Criterion Collection

I also received the message that said "This disc uses a newer version of AACS protection. Please let us know about it..." I'm using v1.17.7 of makemkv, and the dump file was named MKB_v68_THE_CAMERAMAN_381E.tgz which makes me believe the AACS version is 68. Any ideas why I get this error? ...

Rocky Horror Picture Show 35th Anniversary BD

I just got this BD and came here to figure out which playlist was correct. Since this discussion doesn't appear to have the correct information, I was able to figure it out and thought I'd clear up the confusion. This disc isn't playlist obfuscation; there are actually different versions/options wit...

Re: 2017 NVIDIA SHIELD TV Plex Crashing or Stuttering with some UHD Blu-Ray MKVs

The Plex player sucked on the Shield tube. At least it did for me (2019 ver) until the latest system update from Nvidia. I had to switch to using Kodi+Plex add-on for 4K content, which worked fine. The EN 9 that Nvidia released yesterday appears to have fixed the issues, and a brief trial of playing...

Re: Unable to Back-Up Spectre (Daniel Craig Collection 2021 Purchase)

I got the same collection at Christmas time and had the exact same problem with Spectre. Cleaned the disc and drives (both of mine), and still no go. I did a return with Amazon. The new Spectre disc worked right off the bat.

Re: Dune 2021 Bluray which title?

As others have pointed out, 800 is the playlist you want. This is the correct playlist for every Warner Brothers disc I’ve ever remuxed.

Thank You to All Developers

I just wanted to say thank you to all the developers here. In the past year I have discovered makemkv and used it to rip all my DVDs and Blu-Rays to a Plex Media Server, which has allowed me to rid my house of Blu-Ray players. Now, thanks to the fairly easy to follow instructions in this forum, I di...
