Do these players (x700, etc) play back these (single track, dual layer, profile 7) mkvs? And do they look the same as a retail DV BR (dual tracks & layers, m2ts)? The x700 supports all the DV formats / profiles but only in a TS / M2TS / MP4 containers and yes, they look identical to the bluray ...

Valerian hasnt any color issues
DV also better than HDR in gradients

i agree DV is better.
But is FEL shown correctly so that the improvements in picture compared to MEL is shown?

It plays dual layer dual track in the form of mkv (dual layer single track) via kodi + Yusesope Exoplayer and .ts profile 4 (using Yusesope tool)

So it doesnt play things with dual track? Basically like the shield then

Kodi 18.8 Leia and Exoplayer as above both files trigger and play DV

You own UGOSS AM6 PLUS i see, can u confirm if it can play profile 7 files? Dual layer, dual track and dual layer, single track?

Is it possible to play .mp4/.ts profile 7 dual layer, dual track files on x700? I guess .mkv doesnt work cause its so new(?) and maybe never will but .mp4/.ts ? with atmos?
