Re: Iron Monkey BD
I take it back. There are more problems pointing to a different source. Will get back to this.
Another BD bought at the same time, The Seven Samurai, is giving the same problem.

Re: New BD+ - X-men 1st class, StarWars saga set
Duplicated process! MakeMKV incorporates decryption on the fly and mixing everything into one big file. ANyDVD or DVDFab are great for those who just want to do simple things such as ripping. MakeMKV facilitates the process of making a meaningful second second step (such as transcoding). To remux th...

Re: Mac OS X 10.7 Lion Support
A little more than a week later, presenting version 1.6.6.
It's perfect for Lion. Transition is complete that coincides with Preview 2, which might be as good as final.
Life is back to normal. Plex is now playing bluray beautifully.

Re: Mac OS X 10.7 Lion Support
It would make my transition to 10.7 complete, because I rely on Makemkv plugin in Plex to playback Bluray painlessly.

Re: Jan 30, 2010 can extract PGS subs from mkv
mrbass I figured it out. But I wonder why the author had everything there in place in the application package( I inspected it), yet he didn't go the last mile to incorporate the demux(extract) radio button in the user interface. Anyway, this command line process is very prone to errors with my bad e...

Re: Guide to convert PGS subtitles to idx/sub subtitles in o
How did you demux the PGS? All I could do is to select a particular PGS track and tell it to save where, but the file is saved as mka and BDSUp2Sub can't read it. Unlike the Windows counterpart, which has an excellent GUI interface called MKVCleaver that slpits all the PGS select tracks into individ...

Re: MKV extracts?
Reply: - mike admin: eac3to is in Windows world. MkvToolnix for OS X can only extract PGS into another mka file, which is still a place holder that other subtitle programs won't be able to digest. - Inertius: I don't think I can get MkvExtract CLI for OS X. Maybe I don't know where to look. Furtherm...

Re: How to access the subtitles?
This has the subject of interest for me for months. I have been successfully done it in Windows but still bothered by the cumbersome process in OS X simply because of lack of support of some key software. This is how I do it Windows. 1- Use MakeMKV to rip BD intp 1 big mkv file. 2- Use MKVCleaver (f...

MKV extracts?
I want to consolidate the process of extracting PGS subtitles from BD. I have downloaded iMkvExtract but version 1.0 gives errors by extracting nothing into a designated folder. Version 2 is nowhere to be found or is it? Here is what I know and have tried with success: - tsMuxerGUI is great for extr...

Re: Errors on HDDVD Rips
Adding HDDVD makes sense now that BBC has made a stupid decision to encode their latest offering-Life series, using a variant of WVC1. No player that I know of, past or current supports this format, not even Windows Media. To even play this series on computer with either Cyberlink PowerDVD or Corel'...
