Re: Using multiple drives at the same time with makemkv
Mike, I have never bothered to mess around with the buffer size, so a few questions - 1) when you use auto does Makemkv use the maximum it can get? or how does it calculate the figure? 2) Would there be any benefit from increasing beyond 2GB (assuming you changed the program to use more) e.g. on my ...

Dr. No james Bond
I was passed a disk converted from Dr. No (Blu Ray) and processed by BD_Rebuilder which is used extensively here (Germany). When processed by MakeMKV it runs until the last 15 seconds and then fails to save (clipping the last 1 sec via Clown_BD makes no difference. Receive following messages - MakeM...

Re: 3D Blu Ray
I'm sorry for beeing not specific. Meanwhile I was informed that the second view m2ts files only contain difference maps, so they are not valid 2D files and need special treatment as done by 3DBDNET, now named 3DBDBuster. Informed by who? 3DBDBuster WEB site ....had a look at this site...... um.......

Re: explorer blinking freeze
I recently tried making A Clockwork Orange a mkv. During the conversion of the first file my windows 7 explorer.exe froze. The task bar, desktop icons, and cursor all started blinking thus making the computer nearly unusable. The Makemkv GUI did continue to run and finished its task. Once Makemkv wa...

Re: virtual drive not found after restart Makemkv

Re: LG BD570
I used MakeMKV on 150 of my standard DVDs stored them on my HP WHS, and used WD TV live to play them and it works great. I just purchased a LG DB570 and I tried to read those MKV files and I get an error stating "not a recognizable format". I contacted LG and told them what was going on a...

Re: Win explorer crashes when I navigate to folder with MKVs
Well I received my response from DivX tonight which was a very polite - Take a Walk Corporate response. I would suggest anyone with DivX just remove it from their system That was unfortunately the response I was expecting... The good news is that I ran CCleaner (which I use to cleanup my system) re...

Re: Win explorer crashes when I navigate to folder with MKVs
Good luck with the Divx correspondence. AFAIK this has been an issue for MANY versions of Divx. When I was searching for a resolution it seemed this problem went back many years. Ultimately I uninstalled it but would love to be able to use the converter for some other projects I do. OK even with Di...

Re: Win explorer crashes when I navigate to folder with MKVs
Does the divx converter still work with those dll's disabled? That's what I bought divx for and had to uninstall it due to this problem. I tried it on 3 different machines and could NEVER get it to stop crashing until I uninstalled divx. Will play around tomorrow as these modules are in the registr...

Re: Win explorer crashes when I navigate to folder with MKVs
Ok having been through the registry this is the Haali splitter so will play around a bit more to see if I can kill only MKV - as said changing Haali configs does nothing well for all my registry changes etc I was still having problems, so eventually dug out the Win 7 reliability reports for Windows...

Re: Forced Subtitles
I know just finding forced subs is a huge win. I would like to make another sub request... If at all possible have an option to strip subtitle streams to ONLY forces subs. As mentioned some titles use the forced flag instead of a separate stream. Some players (XBMC) do not support the forced flag.....
