Re: Really need to reconstitute a working ssif file
For anyone that may want it, here is a more complete and working command that outputs a shell script to remake the ssif. It doesn't work for seamless branching but fine for others. Meant to be run from the STREAM folder, just change the smap number and ssif file output location to meet your needs se...

Re: Really need to reconstitute a working ssif file
Thanks, of course it is still relevant. I tested it with bs=2048 and it worked great. I restored a working ssif for the full Transformers 3 movie and tested it with my TV spot jumping around all the way until the credits with no problems. Your help is appreciated because in my house everything runs ...

Re: Really need to reconstitute a working ssif file
Anyone? I really need this. I tried another movie with the same command and got a little better results, this time a 11 minute output with only a few seconds of pausing at the six minute mark which stopped and then frequent pausing for the last couple minutes. But enough working time to see that my ...

Really need to reconstitute a working ssif file
I just bought a 2013 Samsung Smart TV and I'm trying to get full 3D working. When sending files by UPNP I can't get makemkv generated mkv's working in 3D on the TV. Using a recontructed ssif file renamed with a mp4 extension works. It started the video and auto switched the TV to 3D mode and I was g...

Re: Can MakeMKV create ISO images from DVDs?
Just use makemkv to create a decrypted backup which will retain all menus and special features. It will be just files but no iso. That file structure will work in XBMC but if you really want a single iso file just use any dvd burning software and output to a image file instead of a disc.

Re: New BD+ - X-men 1st class, StarWars saga set
1.6.15 can't make a decrypted backup of X-Men First Class. It keeps failing when it gets to the digital copy files.

Re: New BD+ - X-men 1st class, StarWars saga set
Any hope of a Linux version of 1.6.15? I have been waiting since release day to backup X-Men. it's already out: http://www.makemkv.com/download/makemkv_v1.6.15_bin.tar.gz http://www.makemkv.com/download/makemkv_v1.6.15_oss.tar.gz Thanks, even right now the Linux post links to 1.6.14, and I did refr...

Re: Multiple Title ** Copies ??
According to people on the forums it can. But not any release, only people that compiled from the git source have a new enough version. I have never tried because I just do decrypted backups a leave them in the blu-ray file structure on my hard drive.

Re: Multiple Title ** Copies ??
Instead of wasting all that time ripping so many movies, why don't you just update XBMC from current source? It can play the iso files then.

Feature Request: Resume failed backup
Sometimes I will get a read error when doing a decrypted backup which cause the annoyance of having to redo the whole disc just to get one file again. To save time could MakeMKV not redo a file if it already exists when doing a decrypted backup. It could save a massive amount of time on my laptops s...

[Feature Request} Insert fps into video
I am having a problem with certain players like mplayer (Linux) not capable of watching the output from makemkv because no fps is set in the mkv or m2ts (backup) I can force it to work by using "-fps 23.976" on the command line but that is annoying if I want to use the gui. Or re-muxing wi...
