Success! I was finally able to read the (23 GB) file using good 'ol Windows Explorer. It just took a .. really .. long .. time.

I tried raising the number of retries in MakeMKV, but it timed out and failed.

I guess I'm that guy :lol: "Nothing else can cause this error - no protection, no software ...

Here's the log file from a backup. Maybe it's having troubles reading the disk? It sure looks shiny and new.
