Yea, vlc crashes on me as well. I've actually embraced Windows Media Player with the CCCP. Works great.

Macbook <---here is your problem...get a PC, imo.
Alternatively,
AnyDVD does not work with bluray, you need AnyDVD HD.
Also, pay for the program. Keep these guys in business. They do such great work.

Remake .mkv?
Can you edit the .mkv file created from makemkv? Basically, I want to remove the extra subtitles which I forgot to uncheck when I created the .mkv.

Maybe this has been answered, but I'm wondwering how non forced subtitles get added? For example, I have Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon Bluray ISO and want to include the English subtitles. I like hearing the movie in Chinese, can't read or understand Chinese, so I need the English subtitles. How do ...

Had the same issue. I did a fresh reinstall of Win 7 and using CCCP and Windows Media Player...no issues. The thing that changed for me was associating the .mkv to Windows Media Player vs. VLC. My movie collection is mostly Bluray and I find VLC is lagging when it comes to Bluray support.

Hate to admit it, but Windows media player with CCCP (Combined Community Codec Pack) is more stable then VLC for bluray mkvs.
