Lots of OpenSSL deprecation warnings with 1.17.6
I'm on Ubuntu 22. Compiling makemkv-oss generates a log of deprecation warnings with OpenSSL and some struct alignment warnings. $ make mkdir -p out g++ -g -O2 -g -O2 -D_linux_ -D_REENTRANT -shared -Wl,-z,defs -oout/libdriveio.so.0.full -I./libdriveio/inc libdriveio/src/infolist.cpp libdriveio/src/s...

Ejecting after read errors takes over a minute and fails
I have a blu-ray that has some kind of read error in a bunch of sectors. After trying and failing to rip, if I try to eject the disk, MakeMKV takes over a minute to unmount it, but then gives up.

Re: Errors
The warning about av_init_packet being deprecated should be taken seriously. That API will be removed sooner or later.

Re: Automatic SVQ downloading is disabled or failed.
I'm seeing this problem, too, but I'm on Mac OS X. I have the "Internet access enabled" checkmark set, and I've never had any problems with websites blocked.

Re: Ripping DVDs is much more reliable if I deselect CC subtitles
I think it's more than that. Like I said, sometimes it works if I keep retrying the rip. If the CC wasn't actually there, then it would never work no matter how many times I tried. Besides, this seems to me like something that MakeMKV should handle as a warning rather than an error. If the CC title ...

Ripping DVDs is much more reliable if I deselect CC subtitles
I've been having trouble for months now trying to rip normal DVDs (typically TV series). Individual episodes would fail to rip without any error messages in the log (just says "failed") right at the end of the rip. Sometimes re-trying would work, but usually not. Sometimes it would help if...

1.16.1 complains about AACS, whereas 1.15.4 didn't
When I use 1.16.1 to open a Blu-ray, I get a lot of AACS errors. I don't get any of these errors using 1.15.4: MakeMKV v1.16.1 darwin(x64-release) started Optical drive "DVD+R-DL OPTIARC DVD RW AD-5670S 2AHId" opened in OS access mode. Optical drive "BD-RE MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ272 1.02d&...

Thank you for continuing to support older versions of OS X
My primary computer is 12-year-old Mac Mini stuck at 10.11. I just wanted to say thank you for continuing to support older versions of OS X. One of the reasons I've been able to get so much mileage out of my computer is because of developers like you that don't arbitrarily upgrade the requirements o...
