Thanks for the links, have just been playing my mkvs in bog standard dts and ac3 for the time being, will give the guides a go at some point.

Hi Was wandering if any one here has any idea on how I can bitstream the HD audio (trueHD and DTS-hdM) ripped with Makemkv? I currently use a asus hdav slim with TMT to bitstream the audio to my amplifier however when ripped with just the hd audio no sound gets played through my amp.. And so I have ...
