Thanks for this. I have just spent far longer than I should have needed trying to flash my new ASUS drive and wondering why all I got was a blank screen. Downgrading to 1.17.7 was the fix . 1.17.8 does not work for flashing.

Thanks for the reply. I hadn't actually solved the issue and had actually given up on it and was waiting to see if a new version fixed it.
