Re: DTS-HD HRA to FLAC
I could not find any conversion profiles, but figured out that I could open appdata.tar with 7zip and in there I found them. I extracted one of the profiles to the directory @dcoke22 wrote about. Gave it a new profile name, and added the block of code @morbius wrote in comment #p106994. et voilà! Ma...

DTS-HD HRA to FLAC
Greetings, I tend to FLAC everything, but now I have one of those discs with "DTS-HD HRA" that FLAC profile isn’t working on. I am somewhat aware that “HRA” isn’t really “true lossless”. From long ago, almost the days of Napoleon, I have a vague memory of reading how to have MakeMKV do als...

Re: Best firmware for Asus BW-16D1HT
~"Benefits of changing firmware on perfectly functioning unit" Me and some others with this same model are experiencing recurrent issues with multi-layer discs, and well, perhaps not all examples are decaying units with lazy laser but instead something else acting up. I would personally, i...

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT stoped reading disks suddenly
I also have Asus BW-16D1HT and are experiencing major problems with dual-layer bluray discs. I recognize the similar debug messages you are receiving. She has become a real fastidious prima donna who only consort with überclean discs. And I do mean clean discs. So clean like you have never seen befo...

Re: If you're experiencing rip errors, please read here first!
Sorry for this novel but, I had many discs failing and logs telling me OS/Scsi error, MEDIUM ERROR, UNCORRECTABLE ERROR, STATUS_DEVICE_DATA_ERROR, and what have you. I was extremely annoyed about this, since I was thinking that those discs are brand new - I had just now unpacked them for heavens sak...

The Flac'ing of Proprietary Lossless'es
Greetings, Issue: As I understand it, bitrate for flac is vbr and usually various software reports the baseline. Still, I can't shake the terrible feeling that this (as seen in image) might be wrong way going on about this, because its been a long while since starting digitizing my discs that I saw ...
