Perghaps you should post whatever windows configuration you have setup.
It might help the linux users for which there is perishingly little documented information.

Re: Automatic SVQ downloading is disabled or failed.
Yeah i dont use the makemkv GUI, I only use the commandline makemkvcon as I only have my bluray drive hooked up to a kodi device for bluray playback and therefore dont have a dekstop. So if you could provide a full list of all the configuration options I can setup SETTINGS.CONF appropriately. So ple...

Re: Automatic SVQ downloading is disabled or failed.
I've checked and its not blocked on my pi.hole as far as I can tell. But ive tested with blocking disabled. And I've also setup DNS with 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 so it shouldn't have any problem resolving if it did before. But it still returns "Automatic SVQ downloading is disabled or failed." ...

Re: makemkvcon cant resume playback?
So having browsed through the forum I think its BD+ and the Fix Up Table which isnt working once I resume? Is this stored somewhere for Linux? Can it be wiped and regenerated? Does it lose connection to the fixup table? How does that actually work? Not being able to resume seems a pretty fundamental...

Automatic SVQ downloading is disabled or failed.
Automatic SVQ downloading is disabled or failed. How do i enable this in my settings.conf On this page there is no information for LINUX: http://www.makemkv.com/svq/ The FAQ also doesnt exist and the USAGE is command line, not LINUX settings.conf A list of the actual LINUX configurations options for...

makemkvcon cant resume playback?
I am using makemkvcon for decryption for Kodi playing blurays and BD+ will play but only if I watch start to finish. If I want to pause or seek or basically do anything apart from continuous playback, from the resume point it will no longer decode the video properly. It still plays, it doesnt error ...

Linux command line options + debugging?
What are the command line options for Linux? How do you enable debugging in linux? Where is the debug log output when you have debugging enabled? Does this log get produced for decryption only as that's all I want makemkv for? How can I get information about the default title (like the GUI might dis...

Re: FATAL: Module sg not found
Yep Sam added that in after I brought up the error. And I can confirm that it now works on OSMC if you follow the instructions here: https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=28562 Haven't tested overwriting the builtin decryption libraries but i may do that at somestage to verify osmc...

Play (decryption only) license?
Ive been interested in makemkv for a while for use alongside Kodi for bluray playback. However the current license is a little steep for that purpose alone. Would you consider a lighter licence for us Linux and pi folk who might be interested in playback only? As it stands, if I get it working I pro...

Re: Feature Suggestion - Submit Disk for decryption?
No UHD in that yet If it were ever to do it it would need to be flashed I'm actually pretty sure my drive is supported as per this post: https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=27378 Appears to be listed as supported under SDF.bin V8 with original vendor firmware: PIONEER-BD-RW___B...

Re: Feature Suggestion - Submit Disk for decryption?
It's connected to a sata adapter and that has its own power. The sg module is currently not enabled in the osmc kernel on the vero4k It's possibly different on the rpi4 version of osmc. Not sure. The pi4 can't do hdr yet so while I do have osmc on it the Blu-ray is generally always connected to the ...

Re: Feature Suggestion - Submit Disk for decryption?
I dont currently have it installed, as the linux install doesnt have SG enabled in the kernel so im installing a test image to see if its since been added. However its a BDXL drive, so I think its theoretically possible that UHD could work. I dont have any actual UHD discs so its kind of a moot poin...

Feature Suggestion - Submit Disk for decryption?
I should preface this by saying that I have yet to get MakeMKV to work for me, i hope that eventually I would be able to use it to play blurays (and UHD if my drive supports it) on OSMC in Kodi. I unfortunately currently cannot use it as my drive and/or vero4k doesnt work with the SCSI generic drive...

FATAL: Module sg not found
I have managed to get makemkvcon to work on Vero4k/OSMC however I cannot get any response from the program because "no usable optical drives." The only useful help information here seems to suggest that for a drive to work with makemkvcon it needs to be mounted against /dev/sr0 AND /dev/sg...

Re: makemkv on OSMC (Raspberry Pi 4)
Could you post the copies: "arm64 versions of the libraries libdriveio.so.0 and libmakemkv.so.1" And "the 32-bit file libmmbd.so.0" For osmc from your system? I'd like to try this on osmc on Vero 4k but if I don't need to wipe and install multiple os'es on a spare pi4 to be able ...
