Re: Internal error - Operation result is incorrect
Looks like it's both disc mastering error and a bug in MakeMKV . Please compress with any archiver and send all CLPI and MPLS files from problematic discs to support@makemkv.com . Your backup is apparently correct. Hi Mike, I just sent a zip file with all the clpi and mpls files from discs 1 and 3....

Re: Internal error - Operation result is incorrect
Can you please check that all CLPI and MPLS files are identical on disc and in the backup? Do you see anything in MakeMKV log (in file, not in GUI pane). Do you get the same error each time you open a backup? I compared all the files *.clpi and *.mpls on the first disc (normal and backup), then the...

Re: Internal error - Operation result is incorrect
What about on Disc 2? Did you get any error message or encountered any problem like slowing down? http://imagicon.info/cat/13-25/text-smiley.png Disc 2 has AACS v8, BD+ v2008.9. No error messages appeared. And as far as I can tell no titles are missing. Did not recognize any other suspicious behavi...

Re: Internal error - Operation result is incorrect
What software and procedures did you use to decrypt the three original, commercial discs? Yes, of course. Discs are original and in new condition. Only MakeMKV was involved in this process. Edit: Just made another backup of the disc, resulting in no change. First disc is protected by AACS v9, BD+ v...

Internal error - Operation result is incorrect
Hi, after backup of Firefly Discs 1-3 and trying to reopen the copied (and decrypted) content again (MakeMKV 1.7.2, Linux(x64-release)) I get the following messages: Disc 1 Error 'Internal error - Operation result is incorrect (196)' occurred while reading '/backup/FIREFLYUS_D1/BDMV/CLIPINF/00001.cl...

Re: Burn Backup-Directory?
@crowfax: Did you manage to burn a blu-ray with the backup from makemkv with k3b and play it successfully with a blu-ray-player?

Re: Burn Backup-Directory?
Hi Crowfax, thanks again for the info. I already know Nero Linux and tried it some time ago. Maybe I try the demo again for blu-ray burning, but still a commandline tool would be my first choice. If the existing tools are not capable of that now, I am sure the support will be added in the future, so...

Thanks crowfax for that info. I will try it with wine.
But if anybody knows a way to do this natively under linux, please let me know.

Re: Burn Backup-Directory?
I use linux. Any special settings/parameters I have to use there? genisoimage has for example "-dvd-video". Is this needed for blu-ray, too? The manpage of genisoimage says: UDF support is currently in alpha status and for this reason, it is not possible to create UDF-only images. Is the s...

Burn Backup-Directory?
Hi,
is it possible to burn the backup-directory created by makemkv to a blu-ray and play it with any blu-ray player? (i.e. including menu, etc.)
If yes, what settings are importand and/or is there a program best used for it (linux)?
Thanks!

Wow, even AnyDVD seems to keep this flag then.

Difference to dumphd?
Hi, I am just testing the latest beta version of MakeMKV (on linux), so far it seems really great. When checking the decrypted m2ts-files from makemkv and comparing them with the files I extracted with dumphd I recognized that they are not identical (all of them). Could someone explain this? Is it p...
